One Sunday Afternoon…

During the summer of 2018, Riley and Peter were both working with Keller Williams Realty. Although their work never directly intersected, Peter heard about a newer agent (Riley) from a few different people and decided to learn more. One Sunday afternoon, they thought it would be a good idea to get a drink at Ledger in Salem.

…Three drinks and a charcuterie board later, Riley and Peter parted ways. They tried to keep it cool after that first meeting. However, both have since admitted they knew there was little chance of life going back to the way it was before they met.

Soon after, Peter asked Riley on their first official date. The dinner date started with Peter cutting his nose and ended with Riley spilling red wine everywhere. Both agreed it was absolutely perfect.

Two years, multiple trips, many laughs, one dog, and a few arguments later, Peter asked Riley to spend the rest of her life with him. The proposal was a lovely surprise on yet another Sunday afternoon. Peter got down on one knee while they were walking Moes (the dog) around Cabot Farm. Spoiler alert: she was so excited to say yes!

Both have experienced times in their lives when things did not go as planned. Their serendipitous meeting made all the twists and turns of life make sense.
